KOLIVO Technologies Inc. uses mobile-number and identity-verification technologies as part of KOLIVO™ PulseID to help verify users, protect accounts, prevent fraud and unauthorized access, and maintain the security of our services.

How verification works

When you provide your mobile telephone number and other identifying information during a PulseID enrollment, activation, authentication, recovery or identity-verification process, we may use that information to verify that the information provided is consistent with information associated with your mobile account.

For this purpose, KOLIVO Technologies Inc. may use Twilio Inc. and its authorized service providers and data providers to perform telephone-number and identity verification.

Mobile carrier disclosure

You authorize your mobile carrier to disclose your mobile account details for the purpose of verifying your identity. Those details may include your name and address.

You further authorize KOLIVO Technologies Inc. and its service providers, including Twilio Inc., to use information obtained from your mobile carrier and other authorized data sources for identity verification, fraud prevention and account-security purposes.

Twilio Identity Match

PulseID may use Twilio Identity Match to compare information supplied by you with information available from authorized phone-based data sources. The verification may return match indicators showing whether particular information is an exact, partial or unsuccessful match, or whether no comparison data is available.

KOLIVO Technologies Inc. uses these results as security and identity-verification signals. A verification result does not, by itself, constitute a determination regarding your legal identity or eligibility for unrelated products or services.

Your consent

Before a verification request requiring your consent is submitted, PulseID will present the applicable disclosure and request your affirmative action. By selecting “I agree and continue”, “Verify my identity”, or another clearly identified consent control, you acknowledge this notice and authorize the processing and sharing described above.

How we use verification information

Confirming information associated with an account or identity.
Protecting PulseID accounts.
Detecting or preventing fraudulent or unauthorized activity.
Securing enrollment, authentication and recovery.
Evaluating identity-verification signals.
Satisfying applicable security, compliance and legal requirements.

KOLIVO Technologies Inc. does not sell information obtained through this verification process or use Identity Match results for third-party advertising.
